Plan pricing

Pingability costs are largely based on the number of checks we perform for you each month.  This is determined by the number of different server checks you have, and the check frequency you set for each of them.

Once you have setup your checks, we also have a cost estimating tool to help you estimate your costs based on the server checks you have setup and the frequency at which you are running them.

When Do You Bill Me?

• You will never be billed unless you have explicitly activated your account.  This is a separate step from the sign up process.
• The first Pingability fee is charged one month after you first create your account.  You will be billed a pro-rated amount for the service since you activated your account.  There will be no charges for the trial period prior to your account activation.
• We then charge the monitoring fee on that same date each following month until you cancel.
• Fees are charged in arrears based on your usage (not in advance, since the fee will depend on how many checks you make in the month to come).

Miscellaneous Billing Info

• Pricing is in USD.
• If you are not happy with the service you have received you can cancel your account and request we issue a refund for your last month's service.
• We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards. We also accept PayPal payments.
• We do not currently accept cheques, wire transfers, direct bank payments or other payment methods.
• GST will be added for New Zealand customers.
• There are no setup fees.
• There are no cancellation fees.  If you have activated your account, you will need to pay a pro-rated amount for your unbilled usage.
• Unpaid, overdue account balances will result in us suspending your service.  You can easily resume service after the balance is cleared.

Free Monitoring Anyone?

We provide free monitoring of home pages if you link back to us, as well as free monitoring at low usage levels:

• No fee is charged if you have fewer than 750 checks per month. i.e. you can use the service for free at low usage levels.  e.g. one check monitored once an hour for a month.
• SMS and phone alerts are not included in the free plan.  They are charged at 0.50 USD per text message/call.
• We have a 'Branded Web Page' check type.  This is a check you set up on your site home page when it contains a link back to the pingability.com website.  We do not charge for running these checks and they do not count towards your usage.  You can run as many branded web page checks on different sites as you like.
• There is no charge until activate your account.  You can enjoy a no-charge, obligation free trial period before you need to activate your account.
